Guess at the size a learning space whiteboard needs to be, and a board that looks generously sized on a plan can still be too small once the room’s actual depth and seating are accounted for. Calculating size from viewing distance and text legibility, not just available wall space, is what predicts whether a board will actually work for the room. Work it out that way and the board is sized for the room’s real sightlines, not an estimate.
