That intensity of use makes surface quality and cleaning routine matter more here than in almost any other setting.

Ghosting, the faint shadow of old marker ink that will not fully erase, usually builds up gradually from ink that has not been removed promptly, particularly in corners or edges wiped less thoroughly during a quick between-lesson clean.
