Assume a design whiteboard and a standard board are interchangeable once installed, and a finished interior can end up with the wrong one for the room, or an unnecessary upgrade where a standard board would have done the job. What stays the same between them is the underlying performance; what changes is how each reads in a finished space and where the cost actually goes. Knowing that difference is what makes the choice, or the decision to mix both across one office, a deliberate one rather than a default.
