In most schools, a whiteboard wall stops at the classroom door. Corridors, breakout areas and shared spaces are treated as pure circulation, somewhere students pass through rather than work in. At Dubai College, Chameleon delivered whiteboard walls that continue well beyond the classroom, built into corridors and breakout spaces as well as teaching rooms, alongside acoustic wall panels in shared areas. The result is a school where a maths problem worked out on a corridor wall is as normal as one on a classroom board.
