A whiteboard wall works brilliantly for the people standing in front of it and almost as an afterthought for everyone joining by video call. Remote colleagues squint at a laptop camera angled across the room, miss half of what’s written near the edges, and end up asking someone to read the board aloud. None of that is a reason to skip the wall, it just means a hybrid meeting room needs to treat the wall as something worth pointing a camera at properly, not something that happens to be in shot.
