Comment installer un mur en feutre PET?

1. Préparez bien l’installation

Assurez-vous que tous les outils et matériaux nécessaires sont prêts avant de commencer. Pensez à un mètre ruban, un niveau ou un laser, un crayon, un cutter ou une scie sauteuse, une perceuse, des vis et une colle ou un adhésif adapté. Une bonne préparation évite les retards et garantit une installation fluide.

2. Mesurez le mur avec précision

Mesurez tout le mur où les panneaux acoustiques seront installés. Utilisez un laser pour déterminer la hauteur et la largeur exactes. Notez également la position des prises et interrupteurs, y compris leur distance par rapport aux bords du mur.

3. Préparez le mur et les panneaux

Retirez les prises ou interrupteurs qui seront recouverts par les panneaux. Coupez d’abord le courant au disjoncteur. Reportez les mesures à l’arrière du panneau en feutre PET et tracez le contour de la découpe. Découpez soigneusement l’ouverture à l’aide d’un cutter ou d’une scie sauteuse.

4. Appliquez la colle et installez les panneaux

Utilisez une colle adaptée à votre type de mur. Appliquez-la uniformément à l’arrière du panneau, en insistant sur les coins et les bords. Placez le premier panneau dans le coin inférieur gauche ou droit du mur, alignez-le avec les repères et appuyez fermement. Continuez avec les autres panneaux, du bas vers le haut et de gauche à droite. Vérifiez régulièrement l’alignement et évitez les joints ouverts.

5. Réinstallez les prises et interrupteurs

Une fois tous les panneaux installés, remettez en place les prises ou interrupteurs.
